Hello, everyone! We've been busy since Mike Baker's feature on Talia, "A Lost Voice," came out in February, 2017, on the third anniversary of Talia's surgery and subsequent death. He did a beautiful job telling a terrible story, and managed to make Talia come alive. That article changed the trajectory of our lives, and we have recently started a non-profit in Talia's memory, called Talia's Voice: Projects for Patient Safety. We hope you'll check out the website and follow us on our journey. We hope to change the culture in medicine so that nobody else loses a loved one the way we did!
